Dr. Francesca Parker, PsyD
Dr. Francesca Parker has more than 10 years of experience as a therapist, working with clients to address issues such as relationship conflict, identity exploration, mood and anxiety disorders, substance abuse, grief, women’s issues, and recovery from trauma.
She earned her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Parker is an Adjunct Professor and Senior Researcher at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology.
Dr. Parker is known for her immense compassion, humor, and ability to bring swift and certain comfort to those in distress. She enjoys long-lasting, meaningful relationships with her clients based on a foundation of empathy, authenticity, acceptance, and mutual respect. In therapy, Dr. Parker practices from a flexible and integrated perspective; including elements of humanistic, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and multicultural theory. She seeks to empower and support her clients, and works collaboratively to determine which approaches will be most helpful in reaching their goals.
Dr. Parker is a registered Psychological Assistant in the State of California (Reg. #PSB94022328) working under the license and supervision of Dr. Curry.
