The phone consultation is the first step before starting therapy or testing. It involves a brief (15 to 20-minute) conversation between you and the provider. During the call, the provider will ask questions to learn about you and what you’re looking for. They’ll also explain their services and fees. If, after chatting for awhile, both you and the provider agree that you’d be a good fit, the provider will get you scheduled for your first therapy or testing appointment.
