OUT-OF-NETWORK INSURANCE

Our providers are out-of-network with all insurance plans except Tricare military insurance, therefore clients are responsible for payment at the time of each appointment. To help our clients, we offer electronic claim submission to insurance to request reimbursement of fees to our clients. This eliminates the hassle of sending paperwork and receipts and expedites processing of payments. Clients who have out-of-network insurance benefits will typically receive a check from their insurance company within two weeks of their appointment.

HOW TO VERIFY YOUR OUT-OF-NETWORK INSURANCE BENEFITS
Call the phone number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following questions:

  • Does my plan offer out-of-network benefits for mental health services?
  • If so, what is my plan’s maximum allowable amount for service code 90837 with a Psychologist?
  • What percentage of the maximum allowable amount does insurance cover? How much would I be reimbursed?
  • Do I have a deductible for out-of-network services that I will have to pay before insurance starts reimbursing me? If so, how much remains on the deductible?

TRICARE MILITARY INSURANCE

Our office is in-network with Tricare West military insurance, meaning that services provided to active-duty and retired service members, veterans and their families are covered and billed directly to Tricare.

Some Tricare plans include a copayment that the client is responsible for paying at each appointment. Some plans also include an annual deductible of up to $300, meaning that clients must pay the full cost of any services they receive at the start of their new health insurance year up until the deductible is met. Once the deductible amount has been satisfied, Tricare will cover the cost of services for the rest of the year.

We will help verify your Tricare insurance benefits prior to the first appointment.
